Galgotias University Breaks into India’s Top 16 Private Universities in QS World University Rankings 2027
Galgotias University has secured a place among India’s Top 16 private universities in the QS World University Rankings 2027 and entered the 1201-1400 global band. Ranked 46th nationally and third among private universities in Uttar Pradesh, the institution has strengthened its global standing through academic excellence, research, innovation, entrepreneurship and strong industry partnerships.
The latest achievement comes after the university’s strong performance in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2026, where it was placed in the 1201-1500 global band and ranked among the Top 27 private universities in India. Recognition in two of the world’s most respected higher education ranking frameworks reflects the institution’s rising stature among leading academic centres and its expanding global presence.
